Tom Heintz is the brother of an artist friend of mine. Tom was the lead ranger for the Montana Mounted Rangers of the Rocky Mountains. He worked alone and travelled the trails and backwoods of the mountain range. He was well known and had many rescues under his belt before passing away suddenly while out on the trails.
